i have a solution already, but was too busy to post. i made a dumb dumb
dumb mistake..
the kernel and stuff were allright an all in the right location. the
problem was, that i just FORGOT to copy zImage to the vfat partition on
my SD. after that, the touchscreen magically appeared working ;-)

take this one:
http://www.blendo.de/index.php?id=18
and this one:
http://familiar.handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.8.4/install/bootstrap-v0.8.4-h6300.tar
take the vfat part from the blendo source. by the way, thanks mister
whoever you are-blendo.
then (if i remember correctly) just unpack the bootstrap directly to
your SDcard's ext2 (maybe even ext3) partition.
now, COPY sdcard/boot/the_actual_kernel_zImage to the vfat partition on
the card. voila, it boots and the touchscreen works. bluetooth should,
wifi doesn't work. had no time to play with suspend, it looks like the
device won't do that now.
