Hello,

After my boot problem, I decided to open my ipaq and use the jtag-tools to
solve my issue.

For that, I've solder the wires to the board and made a simple cable to
connect to the parallel port (based on the one made by Gert Menke -
http://evilg.home.t-link.de/jtag-howto/) . I tried to detect the processor
using the jtag-tools, but I got no output - the pxa250 was not detection.
I've checked if the wires were well solded, and if the cable working
properly.

I've read that the it might not be working because of the
too-simple-passive cable I'm using. Is there any other thing that may go
wrong with this setup, or do I really have to make an active cable to find
out?

Regards,
Ricardo Diz

P.S. The processor may also be blamed, but I don't think that there is a
big probability for that (I'm hoping here :/ ).
