For the ipaq 5550 i am working with i the atmel-usb drivers did not work. After my upgrade to hh36, I had to seperately install the atmel-usb drivers.
~ # ipkg install atmel-usb-modules
Downloading
http://handhelds.org/feeds/2.4.19/atmel-usb-modules_2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36.11_ipaqpxa.ipk
Package atmel-usb-modules wants to install file
/lib/modules/2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/atmel/usb/usbvnetr.o
But that file is already provided by package <no package>
Please move this file out of the way and try again.
~ # mv
/lib/modules/2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36/kernel/drivers/net/wireless/atmel/usb/usbvnetr.o
/root/ipat
~ # ipkg install atmel-usb-modules

But could not get it to work. I proobably messed up someting. I even took battery out and put back, still could not get wlan to work.
I "ipkg remove atmel-usb-modules" and "ipkg install at76c503a-modules"

Then removed the battery, rebooted and it worked.
