Another brick problem...

Hi there,

I managed to kill my battery a month ago, so I ordered one from foxconn.
So far so good. When a received the so called battery, I tried it and the
ipaq did work, but the light of the LCD was not working. I was a little
worried, I admit, but I proceeded to update my software with 'ipkg update
; ipkg upgrade' throught a serial port, thinking It would probably solve
itself. But never mind... The fact is that It looked like it hang for
while, so I ended up resetting the beast.

Now here comes the really bad news. Once I resetted the ipaq h5450, I only
got to a 'boot> ' prompt, but I cannot write anything (or at least it just
doesn't show up).

If I try to reset it with the joypad pressed (or the power button for that
matter), I don't get anything in my serial console.

Any thoughts would be very welcome, as I'm about to think I have nearly a
brick...

Thanks in advance,
Ricardo Diz
