It is possible to use bootldr to boot wince instead of the MicroSoft
boot loader. Then it is possible to use bootldr to boot off of compact
flash (w/ a sleeve) or possibly the soldered on flash.

BUT, I have never successfully booted off of flash (I also didn't try
very hard). So I don't suggest doing this unless you have backed up
everything you care about and then everything you don't care about.
