root password?

I have installed
http://handhelds.org/~pb/unstable/bootopie-v0.7.2+unstable16-h3900.jffs2
no I tri to get a ssh over ppp. The ppp connection is ok. My ipaq can update
from the internet. But the default password rootme didn't work. So I trie to
change it. Success. But the ssh connection still didn't work. Is there a chap
scret or something like this?
