Yes, disabling wlan will boost up battery life... I find out that w/o
wlan driver loaded i can get 7 hrs uptime. So it's a good idea
rmmoding wlan driver when you don't use it. Btw i have on my
todo list an applet similar to bluetooth applet to switch the wifi
module on and off (at least when i'll be able to handle gtk stuff).
