As far as I know, there is work on the 2.6 kernel, for the following
devices:
h2200, h4000, h1900, Dell Axim, Asus, Rover.
For h5xxx, there hasn't been much progress because of a lack of
available manpower, that's it.
Anyone wishing to start working on 2.6 for h5xxx just has to try, and
share questions and issues with the h5400 and kernel-discuss (when it's
a device independent question) mailing lists. That should be all the
easier as this device is well supported on Linux 2.4. It shoud be just a
matter of porting existing drivers to 2.6.
Cheers,
Michael.
