Hi Ross,

Thanks for the pointer but this did not work.

Instead I set the bootloader param kernel_filename=zImage-2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36.10 and then was able to boot as normal.

Same here. I got the following information from #handhelds.org (pb_, IIRC).

The latest kernel ipkg has a problem that means that the /boot/zImage to /boot/zImage-2.4.19blahblahblah. You can work around it using the
bootloader:

ls /boot

to find what's in /boot, then:

boot /boot/zImage-2.4.19yourkernelimage

Once booted, fix your symlink.
