Hi Erik,

Sorry for taking this long to reply, I was away for the weekend. The kernel
messages you are getting on your iPAQ seem to be all right, they're the same
on mine. Are you in any way bringing up the usb0 interface on your PC at some
point?

In fact, I had a similar problem with an older kernel (hh36) some time ago.
The iPAQ froze, but only after bringing up usb0 on my PC, and it used to
happen about one time out of three. In my case, hh36.9 appears to be much
more stable, I get this problem about one time out of ten. I don't know yet
if it's related to what you are experiencing.

I'd like to help solving these problems with usbnet on the h5550. Could you
tell me what Linux distro, kernel version and USB host controller chip (or
motherboard/chipset model) you have on your PC? And are you getting any
kernel messages on the PC side? (try "cat /proc/kmsg" on your PC before
connecting the iPAQ). Anything particular in your setup? (USB hubs, long
cables...)

Etienne
