I tried the Opie images of the same distro release and I concur. My
h5550 display doesn't even seem to work that well (nor does
suspend/resume). All I can say is that way more works then I expected
thanks to the work of Milan and Anton.

All kernel related.

Well, good. Because WiFi is probably the easiest on that list to get
going. Bluetooth is likely never going to work well due to a hardware
issue. Our only hope with that is to disable the h/w stack altogether
and have bluez do all the work.
Battery is likely the next easiest thing to get working. Milan has done
some sound work and he may need to help out with getting the right
kernel config into angstrom's OE recipe.
Anyhow, I want you to know that I noticed too. I am dedicating some
cycles to it. But not as many as I would like. So if you want to help,
detailed problem reports are probably the most helpful thing you can do.
Thanks for trying the distro image. Just doing that is a huge help.
