One year on from the original message

topic it seems that not much has changed.
Using the latest stable Angstrom release (2007.12) on an iPAQ 5450 my
experience is that the following hardware doesn't work:
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Battery
- Sound
Am I correct in thinking that these are all related to kernel, rather
than userspace tools or distribution, issues?
Is there anything a non-coder (or a coder with minimal C/C++ skills) can
do to help? I am particularly interested in getting WiFi working.
