You could get a CF sleeve to connect a CF to your 5450, but I don't
suggest that.
You can always flash Familiar using the serial (RS232) connector of the
cradle or of a Y cable and a regular terminal emulator capable to send
files with z-modem. For the software needed, Minicom under Linux or
Hyperterm under Windows are suitable.
If you have no serial line on your PC, an USB serial interface will work
and is rather cheap.
