OT: button board

Hello

i bought an h5450 on ebay and wanted to give linux on it. Unfortunately
there is apparently a bad contact in the connector. I think that it's
"only" the button board (switch board).

If I press the connector in the right direction I am sometimes able to
charge the h5450 and to see it recognized on my linux-main machine
(lsusb).

Unfortunately this only works with my usb-kabel and not with my cradle.

When I opened my ipaq and measured the connections I noticed that the
most left pin has a 2 kOhm resistance to the outside.
(I took of the protection and measured from the solding-contacts to the
other end of my connected usb-cable (don't remember if it was ground or V+))

Does anybody of you know if this 2kOhm is correct?
Or even better does anybody of you have a broken ipaq with a working
switch-board and is willing to sell it.

If you have another idea or know how to get such a switch-board easily
please don't hesitate to tell me neither.

Any help would be appriciated.

thanks

christian
