Media card tests.

Hi,

I recently got hold of ~10 different cards (SD, CF, Microdrive). I have
them at totally varying speeds and brands and would like to test for
performance and compatibility. Their speeds on a normal linux laptop seem
to be very close to advertised (I used: dd and hdparm). However I need
advice on how to test these cards on my linux ipaq. I have a H5500 ipaq
running gpe 2.6 and a 2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh39 prebuilt kernel. I would like
to benchmark these cards on speed and overall performance. I will post my
results for everyone to see once I am done. Hopefully this will help people
choose a card that not only works but also performs well. If this little
experiment works I plan to get more media cards and host a small website
for the results, and perhaps more experiments will come up :)

I need advice on what software would be more suitable in testing these
cards on an ipaq. As well as any other friendly advice will be greatly
appreciated.

Best Regards

kc
