Well, it doesn't seem to make it work any better either. I'm about to
just give up... do you mind tarballing your kernel and modules and
sending them to me so I can get this thing going (I need a VPN endpoint
of some sort set up at home before I leave for school on the 15th, and
the best choice I have right now is my old PDA, with a cracked screen,
that I luckily had the bootloader installed previously)
