I have found these steps in an old mail

Now that I finally crack out several steps to recharge my H5550.

  1. remove the battery from PDA, and also disconnect from other power
source
  2. wait for at least 15 min
  3. put back your battery, and reconnect your PDA with external AC power.
  4. click the reset button at the bottom. if your PDA does not buzz at
all, goto
step 1, if your PDA does not stop buzzing, goto step 5. otherwise,
it means
your PDA is rebooting and recharging now, you're done here
  5. remove the battery from PDA, and also disconnect from other power
source
  6. wait for about 3 min
  7. reconnect you PDA with external AC power without putting back battery
  8. if your PDA start buzzing and won't stop, goto step 5
  9. put back your battery
 10. if your PDA start buzzing and won't stop, goto step 5
 11. wait for about 10 min
 12. feel the back of your PDA. if it's getting hot, then it means
your PDA is recharging now. Otherwise, goto step 5
 13. wait for about 20min
 14. click the reset button at the bottom of your PDA,
     hopefully it will boot now.
