Confirmed, it's a flaky serial/USB/power connector. Pulling up on
the connector and pressing in firmly connects power through the AC
charger dongle. I have no idea how this problem could have started, as
the palmtop hasn't received any physical shocks that should cause such
a problem. It's also weird that serial still works fine, but it does.
