Familiar 0.8 and 0.8.1 on h5100, h5400, h5500 freeze during first boot after install

Hi,

I have been trying to install Familiar 0.8 and 0.8.1 on h5100, h5400, h5500
model iPAQs. After install of gpe image and during first boot up, the iPAQs
freeze at the GPE logo screen. This happens 80% of the time. I have been
able to install Familiar 0.8 on two of the iPAQs only after *multiple*
flashes of the image file. Any idea what might be wrong?
