Hello all.
I recently did a build of GPE using OE.
The build went successfully, which amazed me as it was the first time I
did it, and I usually mess things up the first time :)

So, off I went to minicom and flashed my h5455 with my new build.
Kerplunk.
I had problems right from the start.
It appears that a couple post install scripts didn't get run. X would
start, and I got the X in the middle of the screen, and I could move it
around, but nothing else.
After some discussions with Phil B, I ran the following two commands:
gdk-pixbuf-query-loaders
pango-querymodules

Once did those, X worked properly I was able to set my login and login
to the box.
After that, I had the following problems:
I couldn't get my PCMCIA sleeve (HP PCMCIA Expansion Plus, with battery)
to work at all. No cards were recognized, no power lights..
The buttons don't work on the h5455
The GPE package manager would list the packages I had installed, but I
could not change anything, check boxes wouldn't check when I clicked
them.
GPE-calendar usually causes X to crash when I add an appointment

There might have been a couple other things, but those were the big
ones.. The PCMCIA sleeve was a big enough for me, as I use it for my
security work.

Hope someone finds that helpful. If people want trouble shooting with
images or anything on that platform, I'm not against reflashing with a
new image to help debug, so long as I'm not using the iPAQ for work that
week.
