Just to clear things up a bit. Since familiar 0.8 is going to be built
and maintained with oe, the issue you describe is common to both. If you
have a iPAQ with wlan running kernel hh37 (from either the unstable or
2.4.19 feeds) you get the oe built at76c503a driver that Phil speaks of.

One could revert to either the old 0.11beta2 at76c503a driver or
atmel-usb driver in handhelds cvs if they need to get something working.
But since both of those drivers have warts, I doubt any of the developers
are going to provide much help with them.
