bricekd iPaq?

Hi,
I have a h3970 iPaq that I think might be in a bricked state. It was left
without charging for a couple of hours and when I got back to the iPaq the
splash screen was on it. I tried doing a reset which didn't work and I
couldn't boot linux again from HyperTerminal. Now the splash screen has gone
and the iPaq seems dead. It has been charging for the past two days but it
won't restart at all.

Has anyone any ideas how I could bring it back to life??
