Good to hear. I've decided to put headphone stuff on top of my todo list
to try dbus capabilities in kernel space. This will involve backporting
R. Love patch to 2.4.19 kernel (already done by Gianluca, a friend of mine)
and kdbusd userspace daemon. Then we'll be able to use dbus to setup
the headphone plug. In other words we just need to send a dbus message
when the interrupt handler is caught and route it to user space. We can also
write some fancy gui application to talk to the kernel module, i.e. to choose between
microphone, headphone and handsets.
Any help or advice is greatly appreciated. Stay tuned for updates...
Cheers,
Luca
