I am experiencing the same problem since I updated to kernel
2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh36.11 from kernel 2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh30. Actually I
cannot even boot the IPAQ unless I change the battery. I read
something about updating to Opie version 1.0.3 (not the exact same
problem but there might be a correlation
http://www.handhelds.org/hypermail/h5400-port/8/0895.html), however I
am not convinced that this will solve the battery run out. Any tips
would be appreciated.

thanks,

J.O. going back to school to get a new battery...
