Do you have a spare battery?
I've did something similar with a H5550. I got mine back to life by
using a second battery to boot it. Put it onto the cradle and make
sure its charging. The do
apm --suspend
Pop out the battery and put in the dead one making sure you do not
remove it from the cradle. Then leave it alone. I found that after
about 30 minutes it unsuspended itself and continued to charge the
battery.
