As far as I know, it should just be a case of adding the appropriate
Opie feeds to ipkg.conf, running "ipkg install task-opie", and disabling
GPE by removing /etc/init.d/S99gpe-dm.

Alternatively, you ought to be able to start from the plain bootstrap
image (as opposed to bootgpe2) in order to save some space. But this
didn't seem to work when Sven tried it recently, for some unknown
reason.
