Philip,
Thankyou very much for fixing the touchscreen problem. I spent a few
hours looking at the documentation and trying to figure it out a few
weeks back, but it was all a bit over my head. I reckon everyone on this
list owes you a beer! ;-)
So, now that I have been able to use my new toy with Linux for a day or
so, I must say that I am very impressed with the quality and range of
programs included. Hopefully, when I can sort out the problems I've been
having setting up my cross-compiler environment, I'll be able to do some
bug-fixing and contribute a bit myself too.
I have been having the same problems with the recent bootstrap as the
others that have replied to your post, such as the battery running out
on standby, it switching itself off randomly while in use, audio driver
etc. Perhaps we should make sure a bug is filed for each of these
problems in bugzilla, so they can be tracked and resolved individually.
Also, someone should close bug #901 now, as it's clear from the
responses on this list that it's been resolved now.

Thanks again,
