Problems configuring wifi in h5450 and some issues

Hello,

I've updated my h5450 so now it has last builds in
unstable for GPE.

But trying to use my AP as I do with the h3870 it
doesn't seem to be right.

I've done:
# iwconfig wlan0 mode managed essid any channel 6
# dhcpcd

Orange led blinks three times and no more. The
wireless monitor aplet says 0 for Link and Noise, and
«random» value for Level (110 i.e.)

I have added to /etc/network/interfaces
iface wlan0 inet dhcp

But I get nothing with ifup wlan0

And iwconfig paramaters must be rewritten after each
reset. Where are they stored? WLAN config program
doesn't seem to be reading them, because its values
are different from the ones I write in rxvt terminal.

Why am I doing wrong?

Other issues I have:
* iPAQ suspend randomly when it is not AC plugged
* Background configuration doesn't last. If I put a
color or image, after a time there isn't.
