ipkg problem

hi

i try to remove gpe and install opie so i use ipkg remove on some gpe
packages
and now i have problem:

# ipkg -V 3 remove gpe-dm
pkg_info_preinstall_check: updating arch priority for each package
pkg_info_preinstall_check: update file owner list
SIGSEGV

and i cant use ipkg to install or remove
is there a fix option of the installed programs?
