Have you tried holding jog and reset then going into the serial console
and typing
load bootldr

then y modem transferring your 48k saved_bootldr.gz

I found it was the only way as bootblaster seems to look for the
original wince boot loader not the new one?

Good luck
David

Subject: [H5400-port] Problems with restoring bootloader

Good afternoon, all...

I've been messing around with linux on my h5455, but decided it needs a
bit
more development before I'm ready to commit to it. It's close, but not
quite there yet. Anyway, I've had no problems reloading
PPC2002. Unfortunately, when I try to put my saved bootloader back, I
get
the following message from BootBlaster3900-2.6.exe:

\My Documents\saved_bootldr.gz is not a valid bootloader image
[ea003fe,43454345,ea000026]

I'm assuming that it's a bad saved_bootldr.gz that I have. While the
current booloader works just fine, I need the original bootloader to
upgrade to PPC2003.

Any help in getting my original bootloader back on (either from my
original
backup or from a known good one) would be very welcome...

Thanks for your time!
-Scott Reichel
