In your terminal program - you cannot only "load root" but also "save
root" this will make the backup of your windows-os through the
bootloader - the same software you will use to go back to windows ce.
Check out help in the bootloader. This is the better way because the
sizes of the backups might be different. Why? Because under wince you
backup everything of your rom. In Bootloader only the part which Linux
uses (it's smaller!).

If you have a backup made in wince - you'll have to cut it to the
"regular" size - that's the meaning of "chopping" - and going back -
just going back to bad old - but working - windows CE
