Belkin SnapNGo keyboard

I read in the list here that touching the buttons in the current version
causes lockups.
I've also read that the kernel seems to support the Belkin SnapnType
mini keyboard.
Could this be used with the 5450 in place of a serial or network
connection?
I'm new to the iPAQ Linux world and was just wondering, as I have both.
