Okay, so after I thought I had created the 5450 brick yesterday, I was fooling
around with a 3800 to make sure all the serial communication was working
okay.

This morning I hooked the 5450 back up and suddenly there was a terminal. I
proceeded to boot wince without any trouble. Somehow I recreated the
vibrating brick syndrome again.

The process described by kinch1 of removing the battery for a moment then
pushing the pinhole reset button does seem to bring it back to life.

Thanks for the help.
