experiences with bootblasting / reliability

Hi,

As the previous poster stated; thanks for the quick progress on the h5400
port lately!

I can't wait to kick out CE, and install linux. A couple of questions
though :)

I know there's no kind of warrenty on free software (i respect that, and
don't expect any).
Still, how safe would it be to try and convert my ipaq ? I'm a bit hesitant
to brick an expensive (and sweet!) piece of hardware, but i'd love to switch
and play with it. If i brick it, can i count on compaq support for
un-bricking ? (I know this works for other iPaq's, but does this also count
for the h5400?)

Furthermore, am i too early in asking for user experiences with this ?
