You should download

ftp://handhelds.org/feeds/wince/h5450_wince_root.gz

and load root that via YModem.

It's a wince backup, that has been reduced in size (by Jamey Hicks, I
believe).

I've used it, and it works fine here. (same bootldr as you're using)
