Some Wi-Fi research [still doesn't working]

Hello h4100-port,

I use recent CVS kernel, acx compiled in kernel, h4000_acx compiled as
module. wireless-tools from debian exerimental:

http://packages.debian.org/experimental/net/wireless-tools. (version
29~pre17-1)

After following actions:

modprobe h4000_acx
iwconfig wlan0 mode Ad-Hoc

iwconfig wlan0 essid someessid

ifconfig wlan0 192.168.5.3

I waited some time and

iwconfig wlan0

reports me that wifi connected to ap (02:<something>).

Now I can see ipaq from my linux box via 'iwlist scan'

Then I tried to setup working connection:

root_at_linuxbox:~# ifconfig eth1 192.168.5.1

Then I ping linux box from ipaq:

root_at_h4000:~#: ping 192.168.5.3

Using ethereal on linuxbox I can see broadcast ARP requests from ipaq.

PC trying to send responses, but ipaq can't receive it.

  ifconfig wlan0

gives me:

  RX bytes:0

When I type 'iwlist scan' it returns no results, but using dmesg I can
see following error message:

Another problem is that even after 'modprobe -r h4000_acx' wifi doesn't
turn off, I still can see ipaq from PC

So,

1) Receiving doesn't work anyway.

2) driver can't properly power off device

3) After suspend, wifi doesn't working, gives error messages while
firmware loading. It doesn't work even after kexec reboot. [Needs
testing with acx compiled as module: try to reload acx module after suspend]
