I also had trouble with the keyboard under Ramdisk Rescue. In the end I
recompiled the kernel and stuck my own kernel and modules into the
Ramdisk Rescue image. But this was a few months back and does not
represent the current state of the kernel. The truth is that I have
found it easier to just do my own compiles and stick things on the card
myself.
When you say that the module "doesn't work" what do you mean? Do you
mean that it doesn't make the keyboard available, or do you mean that
you get errors when you try and load it?
