the weekend is started and so (as I have some spare time) I started to play

As I do not have a serial cable, I started working with the usbnet.
Unfortunately as I launch haret (I got all the files including the kernel
from sa site) I see Tux, the screen get black and (without seeing any boot

In this status I'm unable to ping the ipaq despite the fact that the usbnet
on my debian box is "up and running"
The only thing I could do is reset the ipaq and come back to the sad
PPC2003 :-(
Any suggestion for a real newbie on this kind of hardware?
