Well, it should have the patch. However, I check the initrd file and
found that it was loading h2200 specific modules (such as h2200_lcd and
MediaQ modules).

I will fix that and will come back to you with a new initrd and perhaps
kernel.

Mmm, it looks like an issue on the server, not on the iPAQ, though this
assumption contradicts the fact that you have no issues with other
kernels...
Did you follow NFS setup instructions from
http://www.handhelds.org/z/wiki/HpIpaqH2200ssh?
