Thanks Marcus for both messages.
A pity: I bought a CF card which is not yet supported. Does anybody know how
to get a supported CF card? Do you know anyone obtainable from Spain? 2nd
hand or new...
Foldable keyboard: I followed the indications in that message and wiki page
(thanks for the link), but I could'nt manage to make it work.I tried with
both settings in /etc/kbdd.conf :
port: /dev/tts/0
type: foldable
or
port: /dev/ttySA0
type: foldable
and rebooting (soft reboot through the button below the ipaq)
However, some strange thing is that each time (after the new file was saved
on the SD card ext2 partition where familiar 0.8.4 was placed), after
rebooting with haret, etc. at "Settings > Keys and Buttons > external
keyboard", it wasn't set to type "foldable" (that's what it is according to
the wiki page, since it's the serial hp original foldable keyboard, spanish
version). I always set that to "serial", and "foldable", and after saving
(with admin passowrd, etc.), no effect. And when I go back again to have a
look at that setting, it says again as if no type is defined.
¿?
I might be doing something wrong? Maybe the spanish version is not
supported?
Xavi
P.s: When I edit that file (/etc/kbdd.conf), I do it setting the sd card to
a desktop computer, copying the file to the harddisk, and as root, edit with
"gedit" (utf-8 by default), and save again, and copy it over the SD card
again. (I say so in case it matters to some mistake I might be doing... file
seems to be owned by root root anyways, after the edit...)
