Harmon,
Thank you. I installed serial-cs successfully. I did a modprobe
serial-cs and lsmod shows it as loaded.
I tried the following, with the modem in the CF slot:
root_at_h2200:~# cat< /proc/tty/driver/serial
serinfo:1.0 driver revision:
0: uart:16C950/954 port:C49603E8 irq:30 tx:0 rx:0 CTS|DSR
1: uart:unknown port:00000000 irq:0
2: uart:unknown port:00000000 irq:0
3: uart:unknown port:00000000 irq:0
root_at_h2200:~#
If I remove the modem from the CF slot, I get:
root_at_h2200:~# cat< /proc/tty/driver/serial
-sh: cannot open /proc/tty/driver/serial: No such file
root_at_h2200:~#
So it looks like the modem is definitely on /dev/ttyS0.
However, using minicom on /dev/ttyS0, I still get no response to
+++ATE0, for example.
Thanks for the help - I'll keep working on it. Any additional advice
would be gratefully received.
