Well what is RamdiskRescue and where do I get it? I couldn't
figure it out from the site.

Oh, this was the first thing I did :-) Having blank screen, I
simply left the device on my desk and went to dinner, for about a
half an hour.

Okay, in fact I've got some news. Having another version of
kernel (on my DOS partition), I managed to boot up with all other
things unchanged. So, _definitely_ the kernel which is being
handed out at
http://handhelds.org/familiar/releases/v0.8.4/install/download.htm
inside the bootgpe-XXX is the thing which stopped the show.

May be should this be fixed somehow?
