Hi,

Sounds like you've got a problem common to both solutions then.
It does pay to remember that the first boot takes a fair time.

Using a serial cable or cradle is the only way to know for certain what
the problem is.

Providing the RRSyslog after an install *might* give me some pointers to
the problem.
