I will review your patch this evening, and perhaps will report the
result here. However, this is a general patch (non-PDA related, and even
non-ARM related), so I think a better place for asking about such
patches is the main linux-devel mailing list. Or perhaps a even better
way would be sending the patches to the fbcon driver maintainer.
