boot from SD???

I've been watching this thread for quite awhile now.
I had, key word had, a 2210. I set it down in a home
improvement store and it got up and walked away. Oh,
well, getting ready to buy another one. Just love the
SD and CF slots. Anyway, while watching the posts,
I've noticed everyone is shooting to try and boot from
a CF card. Or at least that's what I understand. I'm
wondering if it will be able to boot from the SDIO
port instead. Is that going to be in the works or do
I need to get a CF memory card? I don't yet trust the
SDIO to provide me the wireless access I want so I was
trying to stick with proven SD card for memory and a
CF card for wireless.
If someone could let me know, I'd appreciate it. Once
I get through some things at work, I'm going to start
looking at some of the code in this effort. I've
never coded C or C++ but embedded code on these things
really interests me.
Sorry for the long post.

Handy.
