Thanks for the tips, but they don't work for me... Your device is an
Axim X5, right? ;-)
I did get the "ether gadget: USB reset" messages when unpluging the
cable, but nothing when pluging it back. In particular, the PC host
doesn't detect anything at all. When I plug in my h3970, the PC host
immediately notices it.
I made a minimum kernel and initrd to work on these issues. They
correspond to the "minimum_usb" files in
http://michaelo.free.fr/pda/h2210/starterkit/ .
I guess something's missing in our pxa initialization... I guess I'll
have to switch on verbositity on the usb gadget drivers to see what's
going wrong.
However, I'm still amazed that it works for you!
Of course, help, suggestions and testing are welcome!
To be continued... USB ethernet is a must have for everyone!
