the MS driver at least confirms something: after the haret thermometer
is filled with red, h2200 is not seen as a valid IrDA device.

Furthermore, no incoming IR at all while filling the thermometer.

In short: the kernel doesn't output IrDA, or doesn't recognize the
hardware inside.

Michael, the axim doc you mentionned says some STUART is needed in
the kernel option. Since your console is working, can you look for
info in /proc when h2200 is in linux mode, to confirm/infirm your
IrDA is activated both in kernel compilation and in hardware ?
