booting from cf

Hi, i am using the files from HYPERLINK
"http://handhelds.org/~koen/CFrootfs/"http://handhelds.org/~koen/CFrootfs/
to boot from my cf card.
verything looks ok, i see the openembedded screen and after that x starts, i
see the "X" mark while occationally there is a cursor blinking on the left
top corner. After that my ipaq freezes. Is this expected?
