shamcop_clock_enable() question

Hi all,

it can be quite dumb question but i'm really hanging here without an
answer.
I have this driver i'm working on and i want to enable the OWM bus.
This normally looks like: shamcop_clock_enable(dev,
SHAMCOP_CPM_CLKCON_1WIRE_CLKEN, 0);

But where do i get my "dev" structure from? Who filles it up?
Actually i'm really confused about this so i would be eternally greatful
for a little
explanation from somebody. I know that this is about the 2.6 structure
somehow, but i've
check one hundred sources but i really don't know who fills this up?

What I looking for is the "map.base" address which is used in the
SHAMCOP_OWM.* macros.
