Arthur, i use 'the complete reference: C 4th edition' (Schildt, Osborne) and
'Linux Programming by Example' (Robbins, Prentice Hall) these are two great
books, the later will give u a good understanding of what is going on inside
Linux, and so help you to understand how to program for it, it is not really
aimed at kernel development tho, but i recomend them both :) , (not cheap tho
lol (my student loan paid for myne :D
the book on C is very hefty, its a refrence guide more than a tutorial, but i
have found it very usefull :)
